I would love to see some more Lilly Pulitzer available as well as Vineyard Vines! I do lot's of shopping online and really good size guideline always help (ie. Lilly tends to run small....)

Lori Patricia said...

It would be great if you could see what sizes are available on the sale merchandise before you click on it and choose the color you like and then you discover only when trying to put in the size that size 2 and 4 are not availalbe. If the sale items were shown and the sizes below I would do more on line shopping here because the wasted time would be eliminated! Thanks, Lori

The same items need to be grouped better. I really like to look at the family items together but I cannot because they are not grouped well.

Also, the shipping seems really high for the value. I have ordered happily from CWDKids but the shipping always makes me look elsewhere first.

Everyone loves something "free" - so, you could send out a coupon for free shorts with the purchase of a shirt or something like that - (sort of the way that Victoria's Secret sends out the "free panty" cards).

Victoria Wallace said...

My suggestion is to add a field to your search so we can search and see only items that don't have buttons or zippers (basically elastic only), as a lot of young kids don't like clothes with those. Thanks!

Y'all have a very easy website to use and I have a few ideas on how to make it even easier:
My daughter will ONLY wear pink. It would be great if you had a section where I could browse by color. Also I have twin boys and would love to see a brother/brother section added to the Family browse.

Kathy Coyle said...

I have been shopping on-line at CWD for years now, and I am grateful that you carry a couple lines of boys clothing that have "elastic" waist pants and shorts. Thank you, thank you for giving us elastic for those kids who have alittle extra around the waist.

For older kids' sizes (5 and up), would like to see more clothes with a more "grown-up" look to them.

Lela in TN said...

If there is information about how an item fits, that always helps. E.g., I shop your site for Mulberibush clothes (which boutiques around here usually sell only in sets)for boys ages 2 and 4, and girl age 7. But my daughter is very slender, and it's hard to find pants that fit her. Sometimes the Mulberibush pants in particular are rather full (which is great for the boys). I often buy 10 or 12 pairs of pants, often buying ahead during a sale (especially cords and all your elastic waist pants). I love that you sell the shirts separately.

I have shopped CWD for years and have loved the matching outfits for a variety of ages for my 4 kids. They are older now, but my girls still love your swimsuits! Thanks for providing reasonable prices and good sales! I can always find something.

TNMOM said...

Flat rate shipping or no shipping charges with a certain amount ordered would be a great enhancement!

AANDGMOM said...

We love CWD kids~
1) I agree with Lori that it is a pain to go through the sale stuff and then discover your size is unavailable! It slows down my shopping!
2) I wish you carried more 12-18 month sizes - some of your 2T stuff runs really BIG.
3) Buy one get one free on jammies would be nice. You can never have too many jammies!

I love your website and catalogs, I find it all very easy to use. I have 4 girls from teen to 5 and like the fact you carry a Mothers matching dress for our annual family pictures. But I would really like to see a teen or Jr. size as they fit differently then a womans size and it would be nice to have a 3rd style of the same print. My younger two love your CWD Horse long sleeve dresses and we get one yearly! They are such great quality and we get some many nice comments on them. Although I think your shipping seems a bit high compared to other on line ordering but over all I am very pleased, thanks for the wonderful items year after year!

I wish I still lived in Richmond and could shop your stores personally! The pj's are terrific and we've enjoyed the little boys' clothes that are "tough", but not tacky. Nice selection of all cotton, made in USA clothing that wears well for a long time! My daughter would love more shorts and some less feminine tops.

Pam in NC said...

As a mother of 4; I love the selection for the younger children. With the price of gas and the convience of online shopping I'd love for you to increase the lines for bigger boys and girls(sizes 8-14).

I would love to see more specials and deals and occasionally free shipping. We love CWD Kids and enjoy shopping here, but love to find a great deal with 4 four kids!

Krista M said...

I love CWD Kids. I wish you had more clothes for those girls that have grown out of the "kids" stuff. Seems that theirs is so much cuter and my 7 year old is tall and wears your 12 pants. I also wish you had more 2'fers on the boys theme t-shirts. You can never have enough but the prices are a bit high. We always receive nice comments on your outfits and will continue to shop with CWD Kids. I do agree that the size availability on sale items would be a huge help. Shipping charges count, too. I also see a spot where Coupon Codes can be entered, but we never see any coupons. Was wondering about that since one can never get enough deals! Thanks for great choices for my family.

The Nolte Family said...

Can you expand your stores beyond VA? I live in Indiana and would love the clothes, but want to be able to feel and touch them (and try them on the kids before buying). Thanks

Leesy said...

Personally I would like more below-the-knee skirts and other more modest styles for the girls, rather than the halters and miniskirts.

Teri said...

I really enjoy the sibling outfits and would like to see more in kids sizes (no longer need the infant/toddler ones!).
These days I can only afford to shop when you guys are having one of your awesome sales, so the higher end stuff that doesn't mark down much is not very helpful to me.

Olena Jacenko said...

I love CWDKids and often purchase clothes for my son and daughter. I have 2 comments:
1. My daughter is 9, and is tall and slim. She is now unable to fit most girls' clothes (too short or too wide). I'd greatly appreciate teen/junior sizes (or slim/heavy options) added to the size choices.
2. A number of other clothes sources offer free shipping once a specified level of life-time expenditure has been achieved (e.g. $500). This would definitely increase my use of CSWKids; I usually do not buy 1 or 2 items at a time due to shipping costs, but wait for sales where I can get multiple items.

Cindy Scroggins said...

You have an excellent website and I buy from you often. I would love to see your sale pages reflect the same sort options available on your regular pages (for example, limit the sale page to girls, size 10). This would definitely make me more likely to shop your special offers!

I love your clothing both the boys and girls things are great! I have five children and only the younger two are still in your size range. Your bathing suits are the best!! They can be washed daily and still look new. I have recommended your cloths to many people as i would rather pay a little more for good quality! Everything I have purchased from you has been loved by me, my children and others...I wll continue to be a good customer until I have nobody left to buy for..Thanks, Suzanne

Holly said...

Please don't change the style of clothes! I love that they are age appropriate...if people want older looking clothes then go elsewhere :)

I'd like to see an organic area, where you can buy fair-trade organic clothing for the kids. I know there are some higher end companies that would blend in very well here.

I also find it hard to find cute simple shoes for kids in the really big sizes....4,5,6 for older kids. For instance those riding boots I covet for daughter....they are WAY too small for her. I still dream though....

Susan from Sisters, Oregon said...

I like your site - it is easy to navigate! One thing I would appreciate is more help with sizes. The size chart is generic and specific brands run differently. For example, some boy brands style their Tees to be huge and baggy -- but that oversized style is too big for my boy. Also, some free shipping opportunities (for holidays etc) would be nice. :-)

karen said...

i have a VERY tall 8 year old. it is sooo difficult to find clothes that are her size, yet still age appropriate. CWD always had the latest trends available in larger sizes. it's the only place i shop for her!

Jen said...

I would add boy clothes to match the color tones of the girl clothes. I bought two outfits for my girls, and am now looking elsewhere for matching colors for my son. I would have spent the money at your site, but nothing was offered. Thanks!

I have a 6 month old daughter and would love to be able to buy her more things from your website. There just don't seem to be enough items that are available in infant sizes.

How about an options for us to send in pictures of our own cute children wearing CWD items? Maybe a monthly/quarterly winner featured in the catalog/website. Makes us mommies proud, and happy to shop CWD!!!

With the trend toward rash guards for swim season, I'd love to see terry skirts to slip on over girls bathing suit bottoms as coverups. I ordered one off your site a couple of summers ago but haven't seen anything similar featured in the last two summers-and rash guards have gotten more popular since then.

I would like to see a spot on the website where you can pull up clothing by the brand name EX.:Flapdoodle, I compartive shop many times before purchasing and it would help to know what is available by that brand. Cute boys clothing is always hard to find so I always check your catalog beforeI shop. Thanks for finding boys clothing that Mothers and sons can agree on.

I love the variety that CWD offers (mulberribush, sara's prints, polo, lacoste); however, the extremely high shipping costs tend to push me elsewhere to shop. Vineyard Vines would be an AWESOME addition.

Margaret Winkelman said...

I would love to see comments on fit. I find I have to return merchandise due to such a wide range of fit in different brands (and pay for shipping). Then there is a wait for the exchange.
I have been shopping here for years. Would love more colors in the boys ralph lauren polos and more brands of shoes!

Lori Buckner said...

I love your site and its always the first place I look for matching clothes for my kids. I would like to see some clothes in a slightly lower price point. I tend to only shop your sales right now since I have 4 kids to shop for it adds up. I'd love to see matching clothes in a slightly lower price.

Kathy in IN said...

I was given a huge list of kid's products companies/phone numbers when I had my first son in 1994. CWD kids is the only place at which I still shop! I now have six children and they all enjoy picking a few things although now that our oldest is 14, he is outgrowing the sizes.

A sidebar on your pages showing what may match certain pieces may be nice, but the number one thing that I would love to see if free shipping over a certain dollar purchase, lower shipping charges, and certain amounts off of a purchase of so much. I think the shipping fees and lack of free shipping offers deters some customers since there are so many free ship offers out there.

The personal service offered by Kelley has been so valuable to me over the years. She has gone out of her way to help on various occasions. Three cheers for her!

It would be nice to see fronts and backs of items and better close ups.

Please carry more of the nicer bigger boy (16/18) sports type clothing. Also many many parents look for fashionable, modest clothing for girls. Please carry more clothing like that for all girl sizes, not the mini teen/prostitot type stuff so widely available in many stores.

Keep up the great work. You are a fabulous company.

I have shopped at CWDKids for about 8 years for both my son and daughter. We have gotten great clothes over the years! I have especially loved the brother/sister sets and "family " outfits as well.
I would love to see some kind of frequent buyer program or online coupons for regular customers.
Thanks so much for always having such a great selection!

I love your site and your clothes. I think that with the price of everything getting higher, many of us are watching our budgets. It would be nice to see a pairing of a less expensive plain item with a unique more expensive item. For example, a cute printed skort with a solid color T that matches on of the colors. I also think that free or reduced shipping would be a great option. I agree with Sara - everyone likes something free!

Also, I'd love to see more matching accessories - purses, headbands, etc.

I have shopped here for many years. My daughter is now 16 and my son is 7. I find the clothes to be of very high quality and the selections offered allow my children to look like children.

I nice perk would be to decrease or eliminate shipping costs with large orders. This would impact the amount of clothing I purchase at one time. Thank you for a great place to shop.

I absolutely love your clothes. I did have a problem when ordering though. It would be great if the communication about backordered items was a little better. I had to call a few times just to find out when the items would come in, I never got an email telling me it was backordered in the first place.

Jeff Jones said...

It would be nice to see longer fuller skirts for girls as well as for teens. We tend to dress a little more modestly than most.

Lower shipping charges would be great.

And lastly, in the past I have ordered items only to find that all but one item is unavailable. Instead of emailing me to let me know most of my order could not be completed, you have sent just the one item. With shipping costs being high, I would have preferred to cancel my order. An email notification to let me know the situation and asking whether I would still like to have the remaining order sent or canceled would be helpful.

Thanks, Lois

For potty training ease for 2.5 - 4 year-old-boys, more elastic waist pants and less button/zipper choices. I have twin boys and they struggle with anything that has a zipper plus a button-fly. I do like your discount for buying in multiples which I do with the twins. Also, letting us know which sizes run small/true to size etc. either in the catalog or online. Some stores do that for adult clothing, but I have not seen that for kids. Anytime you can reduce shipping fees, it will help to make a families choice to shop be C.W.D. Kids.

Thank You,

We love CWD Kids at our house and have shopped with you for years! I like the email updates about sales, but it would be nice to have a friends and family type coupon/sale twice per year that is a percentage off total purchase with free shipping. Also, stock up sales with free shipping over $50 or $100 would be nice. Even a coupon (emailed or included with package) for a percentage off your next purchase is helpful. Show appreciation to us loyal CWD Kids shoppers and we will keep coming back to buy more! :) More matching items for brothers and sisters would be great, even if it is just a polo shirt in a color that coordinates with dresses for the girls. We love the classic styles that let children dress like children, please don't change that!

First of all I love your clothes for both my son and my daughter--wonderful selection!

I agree with two of the other mothers--I would also really appreciate seeing the sizes available before going into it only to realize they don't have the size I need because it takes so long, at least on my computer, for it to go back to look at the other sales.

Also--I just have to say thank you, thank you, thank you for all your boys shirts that you have in larger sizes with animals, cars, and sports on them--especially the animals. I really love the fact that they don't look punkish like all the older boys clothes (which is all I seem to find everywhere I look)--which is why I have ordered all my son's shirts from you for several years now. I very rarely, and I do mean RARELY find a shirt anywhere else that is comfortable and has nice looking pictures on it as well. I would love to see you go up to size 14/16.

Christine McCauley said...

As mentioned by another posting, I would like to see more sizing information per brand. Not all designers size the same way, making the catalog or web site difficult to find the right item when your child can not try it on before purchasing (plus I'm one of those people that does not return items due to the time required). Many other sellers of on-line merchandise will let you know how garments from different lines fit their childen when they list items. It would greatly reduce the amount of research needed before purchasing. Thanks.

Meliss said...

I agree that it would be nice to see size availability on the merchandise without clicking!

I appreciate that you have "little girl" styles even for older ages so that my daughter doesn't have to dress like a teen too soon.

My daughter is a very slim 8 yo. I would love it if CWDkids would carry girl's swim separates with tops that would be long enough to cover the belly and sports shorts such as this style: http://www.llbean.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CategoryDisplay?page=hibiscus-sport-shorts&categoryId=57749&storeId=1&catalogId=1&langId=-1&parentCategory=503907&cat4=503906&shop_method=pp&feat=503907-tn&np=Y
in a wide range of sizes. (I linked those shorts, but that store did not carry them in a size that would fit my daughter.)

Thanks for listening!

I would like to see your shipping rates somewhere above the fold on the website - easily accessible so I know how much shiopping is going to be before I start putting stuff in my cart.

DR in Vermont said...

I would like more brands for all ages as well as a simplified sale section where you can put in size and get the items on sale in that size. Although it is nice to browse through everything because there are so many great things for sale!

I would love to see matching socks for outfits or even packs of socks to order.

I would also like to see availability at the time of confirmation. Last week I ordered a shirt and only found out when the other items shipped that it wasn't available in that size anymore. Problem I had was that the shorts I ordered that were in stock I only picked becuase they matched the shirt. If there was a way to link items so that if one isn't available you have an option to ship automatically the next size up or cancel the order entirely.

Maddie said...

I love to visit the website especially your sales. I would like to see some coupon codes for reduced shipping. I'd also love to see more preppy, classic items. Maybe you could also consider an affiliate program for people who send customers your way.

I order from you occasionally but I would like to see the clothes selection for boys increased. You have beautiful choices for girls but the boys clothes fall into either Ralph Lauren or athletic-looking play clothes. I would like to see more affordable preppy classic choices without having baseballs or footballs on them.

Denise Sarnowski said...

One thing that I have started to do when purchasing clothing for my girls is to measure shoulder to hem in length for dresses and inseam in pants. Not all 10's or 8's or 6x's are created equal. Clothing sized by the measurement is easier to size when purchasing via catalog or online and means returns to you are less likely.

I have a 2 yesr old son, and sometimes it seems like there are more clothes choices for girls vs. boys. Maybe some more whimsical items for little boys, instead of all the cute stuff for girls.

Kimberly in MA said...

Either flat rate shipping or an occasional free shipping incentive would be great. I love the lines of clothing you carry, especially mulberribush and tumbleweed, but I do almost all my shopping on-line and can usually find another retailer who will offer a lower or free shipping rate (hannaandersson and boden offer this). I would love to see more older boys clothes (i.e., size 8 and up) w/ an elastic waist in the pant. My boys hate buttons and zippers and now that they are getting older it is harder to find all elastic waist. I think you have a great web-site and appreciate the selection and sizes you carry!

Lori Walker said...

I would like to see a little more variety for the little girls. I can get lots of stuff for my big girls (ages 3&8) but there's not as much to choose from for my little girl. (8 mos). I love the boys wear- the T-shirts from CWD are my son's favorite!

terry sapp said...

I would like to see plus sized clothes for the women to match the kids. Also, for the older boys, tshirts that arent quite as "babyish" as the younger boys. The girl styles are darling, but I dont have a girl! Better sales on name brands like Polo would be awesome as well as free shipping occassionly, etc.

I shop at Lands End online a lot because of their 100% satisfaction guarantee. Since buying clothes online is far from an exact science, I like knowing that if something doesn't fit quite right or whatever, I can return/exchange at no cost to me.

Becky Crawford said...

You have many name brands that are made in the USA. I have stopped purchasing from other catalogs because their children's garments are made in China. You should promote these USA made brands and items in a clear, distinct way so moms like myself can find them easier.

A flat rate for shipping if you spend over a certain amount. The clothes are great but are already a little more than I want to spend so offering discounts on shipping would help.

Carla said...

I love your site and have ordered some very unique items for my girls. I shop online daily, and here are my suggestions that would make your site more competitive:

1. Offer flat rate shipping and free returns, even if just during certain dates.

2. Send coupons to your most valuable customers. Nobody wants to pay full price, especially now that we are entering a recession.

3. Group coordinating items together. For example, when I click on an Anita G bathing suit I want to see a sidebar with matching cover-up, flip flops, sundress, etc. This would be the place to showcase coordinating family outfits as well.

4. Eliminate all the Ralph Lauren because it can be picked up cheaper at Marshall's and TJMaxx, sales at Lord and Taylor and Bloomingdales, etc. Try other exclusive classics like Plum Pudding, Baby Lulu, Banana Cabana and Kate Mack.

Sincerely,
Carla

I would love to see brands like Tiny Bubbas, JB Originals and Charlie Rocket. Also, shipping could be less expensive. I would also love less "preppy" options for girls. I am not a fan of Lilly pulitzer and my daughter won't wear things like that anyway. Just plain cute clothes for girls like tie-dye or cute shorts with a simple print on them would be great.

sswieca said...

It would be very nice to have a "quick view" of items when you mouse over them so that you could see the item slightly larger to see if it's an item you're interested in before you actually click on the item an are taken to the details. Also it would be great It would be great if you could see the available sizes and colors before trying to select it -- especially for sale items. Would also be very cool for a flat shipping if you spend enough. These items might enable moms with busy children a few extra minutes to browse and purchase items.

Although you can look by category, I would like if when you view all pages that clothing is grouped by type.
Also, you should be able to zoom on pics with models in clothing as well as individual pieces.
And girls can wear much of the clothing that is only modeled on boys!

Twinsmom said...

I love shopping CWD Kids for my boy/girl twins.  However, the prices for some brands tend to be somewhat high for the same items found on other websites (especially Flap Happy and Le Top).  You seem to lower prices eventually, so I try to wait for your sales.  Maybe you could have special discount days, coupons for loyal customers, or free shipping with a larger order?  That would stop me from visiting other sites before placing my order, or advance my purchase before items go on sale.

Tawnya said...

I ordered a fairly large order not too long ago and somehow the order was duplicated. I was charged two times and the order came twice. Maybe there could be a way to see that an identical order went in and have a red flag go up. We have to enter our phone number and email address maybe someone could contact to see if the order was entered twice.

I have a 4 year old girl and have been shopping with you for her for a while now, but I have a new baby boy and would love to see some more things in smaller sizes (12 months or even smaller). I agree that the shipping charges are high. I just ordered a very large order and while I paid between $15-$20 for shipping, it was all stuffed into a very small plastic shipping bag which I'm sure did not cost more than $5-$7 to mail. But all in all I am very pleased with the customer service! Always so nice and helpful.

How about a frequent shopper reward, such that orders over $100 get a 10% discount, etc.

Also, I love the selection but often find that the sizes are out of stock in the sale items.

Website is too text heavy, more pictures and fun ideas/fashions.

I would love it if you had more coordinating outfits for older girls. It seems like you have a lot for younger children (ie. girls, boys, same siblings) but now that my children are older it's hard to find something for them that matches but is not identical, esp since one likes dresses and the other likes pants and shorts.
Also, on the sale items it would be great if you posted the available sizes. I shop the clearance pages religiously. It's amazing what great clothes my kids have at bargain prices but I always seem to find something I like only to find out it's not in my daughter's sizes.
The shipping can be pricey. How about a coupon for free shipping at least once in awhile.
Finally, the more Hartstrings the better. I prefer to shop online than anyplace else.

I would love to see more big girl clothing - it is hard to find 'tweens' outfits that don't look too grown up or too babyish. Fang, Dimples, and Roxy are some brands that come to mind.

Anonymous said...

I love the cutesy styles available at CWD. However, I end up making more purchases at GAP because they have more "staple" items that I can throw in to my purchase, such as a pair of basic jean shorts, a plain denim skirt, or solid Ts. For an order that's going to have a large shipping cost, you want the most bang for your buck, and grouping a bulk of your child's seasonal wardrobe into one purchase makes cost sense.

suze said...

I love your site and your catalog -- one thing that comes to mind for an enhancement is more 'tweens' clothing that isn't too babyish or too grown-up looking -- a tall order, I know!

I think a weekly or monthly featured item along with a promotional price would be great!

Also, I don't like it when I click on an item and several other items from that same line show up on the ordering page. For example, I clicked on a t-shirt for my son and other items from that line showed up, too. Some were even for girls. It would make it much easier/convenient if just that item was displayed. I love the unique styles, especially for my daughter. I would love to see more unique hair accessories...she would love that!

I love browsing & shopping at CWDKids. I find the website easy to navigate and the sale prices are fantastic!
I just wish you carried more of the Charlie Rocket girls' line. It seems like there is always plenty for the boys, but not nearly enough to choose from for the girls. My former California girls love this brand!!

Include comments for items made by customers - i.e. I really like this item because...or this item runs big...

You have a terrific selection of a nice variety of clothes. My suggestions would include: more boys lines/items that look more mature (for 9 to 12 year olds), more affordable shipping and return options. I love your catalog and the sales are great but shipping does often prevent me from ordering. Offer a selection of girls essentials such a half and full slips, basic and dressy cardigans etc. These type of items are very hard to find these days!

I would love more young girls (ages 6-10) clothes that are classic and "little girl." I want my girls to look like girls, I could get plently of halter tops and miniskirts at the mall! Also, PLEASE give sizing details...a 6 can be the same as an 8 depending on manufacturer, and with catalogs (either print or online) you don't get the luxury of trying it on in advance. THANKS

I would love to see you guys have more big boy brands. Perhaps Quicksilver? I love your site for girl clothing. You always have a great variety of brands.

i would love more matching "family" clothing with a large range of sizes from baby to big kids (like 10-12 or over).

i also think it would be SO WONDERFUL if you would feature a designer of the year...maybe for small businesses to blossom...and feature their clothing in your catalog...

the shipping needs to be more aligned with other online shopping avenues...like free shipping coupons for those of us who order TONS of stuff or a reduced shipping...

I wish that the family items where all grouped together. I have a son and a daughter and have the hardest time finding them outfits that work well together :) Thanks!

Expand your boys line! Ages 9 and up. I love your clothes for girls and you do a great job for tweens. However, the boys line is a bit too juvenile for guys ages 9 and up. There are lots of shirts with character prints, animals etc... Add some styles with cool designs and colors that older boys wouldn't be embarrassed to wear. I have a boy and a girl and it's nice to do my shopping all in one place and save shipping! Thanks for the contest!!!!

I'm always attracted to shipping deals -- free or reduced shipping for orders over a certain amount.

"Free Shipping" opportunities always get my attention AND free exchanges (for a different size)--would make me more confident about purchasing. Another sure sale is "take an extra % off clearance items" on limited days for regular customers.

I have twin 2.5 year old boys and I love your website and catalogue.

I love your frequent e-mail communication, too.

I agree that it would be great to see the size available before clicking on merchandise.

Also, I often try to search for clothing by brand name, and the search pulls up other brands. I'd love to search by brand name.

Although your shipping costs seems high, I love your sale prices in off seasons and your return policy...so I'm willing to pay the shipping.

Keep selling Mulberribush pants and shirts seperately.

The thing I like the most about CWDkids is the variety of clothes that are offered. I just wish they had more in qty for each size. everytime I see something I like alot of times they do not have the size available.

I also like the Mommy/daughter outfits. I would love it if you had petite sizes for the Mommy.

Thank you

I typically order off the website, but I use the catalog to choose the clothes and get my son's opinion. I am very brand loyal, for instance mulberribush, because I know how the sizes run and that the clothes hold up well to repeated washings without fading or shrinking. So I would like for it to be easier in the catalog and on the website to shop by brand. I do like the ability to shop by age on the website though and wouldn't want to lose that feature.

Molly Carter said...

Free shipping on orders over a certain amount would be excellent!! Also, I know it must be difficult with all of the different brands, but a really good size chart would be great! Thanks.

I am a grandma who loves to shop and dress her grandson, and I love buying from your company. Just look me up and you will see I am helping support your company, but i thought you should know that some of your Polo Ralph Lauren line is also offered at Marshals for much less and that may hurt the sales of those clothes. Otherwise i will continue to support the economy and your company. keep up the good work.

I've been shopping on CWDKIDS for year now and love your catalog. I would love a "quick look" button on the items to see if the size and color availability matches my needs and to be able add the item to my shopping bag without clicking on the item and going to its page. Currently, when I click on an item I would am interested in, it takes me to that page. However, if the item is not available in the size or color I would like, I use the back button on my browser, which means I have to wait for all of the items to load again and if you're viewing all the pages of items at once, this can take up to a minute. This happens every time I look an item whether I add it to my bag or not. If you'd like to see an example of a "quick look" button, you can go to the gap.com website. This would be a HUGE timesaver. I would also love to see CWDKIDS join upromise. Thanks for taking the time to listen!

We also love CWDKids. Like many others I would love to see free shipping offers or shipping specials.

It would also be nice to see matching outfits in a section by itself!

I would love to see more baby items that match the older kids clothing. And your selections would be even greater if there were more matching items with Mother/Daughter, Father/Son clothing selections.
Also if you had a buy one get one free in your clearance items.
And if there was flat rate shipping. THANKS FOR A GREAT PLACE TO SHOP REGARDLESS!!!

I love Flapdoodles brand, so it would be nice if you could get more of their stuff. Also, more jeans an jean jackets, those are always popular. Overall, a great website and a well-put together catalog!

I wish there were more Mulberribush/Tumbleweed in larger boys' sizes. My son wanted a number of shirts from this year's summer collection, but none of them were big enough for him (he's in size 10 currently). I know Tumbleweed goes up to size 12 or 14, so it would be nice to see those sizes available, as well as elastic waist pants to match in flannel or corduroy. He still likes to dress age appropriately, and I do appreciate that your clothing does not have a more "grown-up" look to it. The other thing I would like to see is more free shipping opportunities. The clothing is just inside my budget range, but if there's only one or two things available that I want, I won't buy because the shipping cost is so high.

Anne in St. Louis said...

I would like to see a bigger dress selection for bigger girl sizes (10-16). I have a very tall 8 year-old who wears size 12 and love dresses/skirts. However, I have a hard time finding age-appropriate clothing for her. I have been successful finding such dresses on this website, however, many dresses that would be appropriate for my daughter only go up to size 6x (she hasn't been that size since she was 4!) Also, I love the fact that many of the skirts we order from you have the built in shorts - a must have for when she wears them to school. Thanks!

kjal said...

1) allow shoppers to browse by size and not only by type of clothing (e.g., shirts/tops, dresses)

2) show more pairings of matching items. Currently, you show one top to match a skirt or jacket for a dress. Combine mfgs. since you offer many brands.

It would be great if when placing an order, the system did not automatically ask you how many of one item you want. Most everyone just orders one of a certain item. Also would be great if sale items were put into four seasons instead of just two.

Sales and free shipping are ALWAYS appreciated. I would love item specific sizing suggestions within the description ie: this swimsuit tends to fit short, etc.

Overall, I really appreciate the specialness of your selections. I can get cheap cotton jammies, and t-shirts anywhere... I think email coupons would be great (discounts such as free shipping, 20% off, or some sort of repeat customer program). I would love to see you add "JR." sizes that are in keeping with the rest of your line. Thanks for providing good quality clothes with all the style we are looking for.

I love CWD. It would be great if you could encourage more people to use the online catalog and decrease the number of mail catalogs. A lot of us moms are trying very hard to go green and help the environment. I think a good way to encourage people to use the online catalog is to have online only specials.

On a personal level, I would love to see more brother-sister matching clothes. It is hard to find. Also - you could cut back on the Ralph Lauren. Ralph Lauren is easy to find everywhere. I go to CWD for things that are not so easy to find.

Thanks for listening! Mindy

I work with teenage girls, most of them are troubled, have had to grow up quickly due to their environment or peer pressure. As they soon discover growing up fast is not all it's cut out to be. My reason for telling you this is I am at a loss constantly to find clothing that doesn't shout "I am a teen in a little girls body!" I have 2 teens girl/boy then I have an 8 year old girl who wants to be like her teen sister. Lucky for me the teen dresses like a lady...that being said, I am constantly searching your site and others for clothing for that 6-12 year old age that isn't "baby'ish" yet doesn't scream teen. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE find a way to meet the needs of these age groups more! THANK YOU FOR LISTENING!

Your selection of clothing is fun but it would be awesome if you guys started carrying a few more brands. There are so many great children's designers that aren't represented anywhere in Richmond. Catimini, Cakewalk, Gigi, Neige, Room 7, Kaiya Eve or Oopsy Daisy, Petit Bateau, See Kai Run, Paul Frank, Flowers by Zoe, Meli Meli and so many more. I am sure that you guys are great at buying for your customers and what Richmonders actually want but it would be fun to seen additional lines in person before buying online.
