CWDkids Care Contest Runner-up

Runner-Up: Dylan from Olathe, KS

Dylan is helping others, young and old, understand Tourette Syndrome . He is the author of Tic Talk - Living with Tourette Syndrome: A 9-year-old boy's story in his own words. In the book, he shares what he has learned during the five years he has lived with this affliction. Since the book was released in 2007, Dylan has been speaking at schools, churches, medical events, and conferences in order to further his mission of acceptance and tolerance of of those with Tourette Syndrome.

Dylan, we are so proud of you, and what you are doing to teach others about Tourette Syndrome. We know that through your book and speaking events, you are making a positive difference in the lives of many people! You stood up to a challenge in your life and made the decision to turn it into something positive, and that is not easy! Thank you for your strength and COURAGE!
